You Are Welcome

My dear friend, "I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live." – George Bernard Shaw. Over the last couple of years, I’ve dedicated a bit of my time to join the struggle of helping to raise the younger generation. This has been to ensure that they are well positioned to take over the reins of this country and improve on its lot.

For the last few years, our media landscape has been inundated by a cacophony of noises with regards to various infrastructural projects and who is supposed to be the rightful claimant for such projects. I have attempted to toss the matter up in my mind on a number of occasions and I have almost always wondered why our political...
In 2008, the Chairman of the Estate Committee (Surv. Emmanuel Martey) drafted me to assist in the supervision of maintenance works in the church’s Mission House in Mamprobi Banana. As a result of the decisions of the General Council Meeting in May 2004, our Resident Minister (Rev. Steve Millar) was transferred. Pastor Michael Collins Asiedu was transferred from South...
I joined PIWC-Accra in 1997 at a time when Pastor Anthony Miah (later Apostle) had been transferred from PIWC-Accra to Gabon as the first Missionary of that country. Within months, we received our new Resident Pastor, Julius Franklin Asante-Ayeh from Navrongo. From the word go, most of us the young people could sense that this was a minister who...
“Now praise we great and famous men, The fathers named in story; And praise the Lord who now as then Reveals in man His glory.” - W.G. Tarrant I first heard of him in 1997 when he was scheduled to inaugurate our campus student ministry - PENSA. He was the Greater Accra PENSA Regional Leader and his name sounded so foreign that I...
This reflection is premised on the funeral of Nenyi Nkensen II (my former Senior House Master), I attended exactly a week ago. He was enstooled the Tufuhene of the Senya Beraku Traditional Area following the abdication of his predecessor Nenyi Kow Nkensen Arkaah, who had gone into full-time politics. As I sat through the funeral, I deeply meditated on...

Being a committed Christian, I have for the better part of my adult life been inspired by the philosophy, ‘Omnibus Omnia Factus Sum’, a Latin phrase adopted from the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians 9:22 where he wrote that he became all things to all men that he might save some by all means.
I have therefore, utilized all manner of approaches to help influence positive change in the attitude and orientation of our people for the overall purpose of nation building. To this, I welcome you to my blog. Enjoy my take on issues espoused through the scripts as well as my brief thoughts on issues as they play out daily and news stories on various endeavors that I may play a part in.
Feed back is always critical for improvement and I would thus appeal to you to always leave a note after reading any piece on this blog.
Welcome and enjoy browsing the pages.
